PET INSURANCE - DOGS ORIGINATING FROM THE UK

When you adopt a Helping Hounds rescue dog that originated from the UK, it comes with 5 Weeks Free pet insurance – whatever the age!

Pet insurance is an important part of responsible pet ownership that can provide a means to pay for vets’ bills and other unexpected costs. That’s why, as part of your adoption package, Helping Hounds give you 5 Weeks Free pet insurance to get you started, provided by Agria Pet Insurance.

The free insurance will be set up for you by one of our volunteers from the day you take the dog to its new home and Agria will email you direct with all the policy details.

5 weeks pet insurance cover is a great start, but it’s important to put some long-term, ongoing pet insurance in place.

​

We recommend that all our adopters take out a full annual ‘Lifetime’ pet insurance policy with whichever company they choose. It gives both our owners and us, as a rescue peace of mind.

PLEASE NOTE:  We are only able to provide insurance for dogs rescued by Helping Hounds, and which come from the UK.
 
Cover does not apply for dogs from outside our borders, or dogs from other rescues that are being cared for at the Helping Hounds kennels.  These rescues have their own adoption contracts and terms.
